New Monster Manual D&D

Yo family!, 

As I'm sure you’re all aware the new D&D Monster Manual is out and I’ve got to admit I'm super excited for this. As you know I’m an avid player and play regularly with my crew.(staring back up his week after the christmas break) 

Alongside the players handbook and DM’s guide this is an essential tool for any DM! 

But what is a Monster Manual you say? The monster manual has all the stat blocks and encounter parameters for the DM to make story encounters and custom ones too!

Official D&D adventures refer to the monsters in this book so it's an essential piece  kit!  You can purchase a physical copy or a digital copy on D&D Beyond. If you buy this on D&D beyond you can share tools with your campaign mates also so it’s great value.

But we already have a monster manual. Why do we need another? 

If you’ve been around a while like myself you’ll know the latest book before this was released in 2014 and wasn't perfect itself, it had 300 unique monsters but little variety in the top end of monsters would lead to higher level players getting frustrated and DM’s would often have to modify sat blocks personally, But thankfully we’re over that now!

So What's changed? 

The new book now has over 500 unique stat blocks and dozens of new monsters including high level threats for the sweats like myself! 

But don't worry if you’ve read the old book you’ll feel right at home with this one, the data is more refined and easier to read. The monsters have been balanced for all levels of players, Also non Players characters have been written in for more flavour.

Plus as a bonus our old favourites have been added and updated with new combat Ratings. 

I can’t wait to cut my teeth on these new monsters. I hope the party is up for it!
